The result of BIM & SECURITY-2020 was a collaboration between the BIM & Security finalists and the BIM2B team - BIM leader of Autodesk. Together, they will develop a generic Autodesk Revit low-current design template that many security designers have been expecting. It will help standardize categories in BIM libraries and reinforce Revit best practices for low-current systems.
However, we also did not stand aside and presented our new development in the field of design automation - R-BIM - a plug-in for Autodesk Revit. Already now, it is able to automatically arrange detectors in the entire project at once, taking into account the equipment of adjacent engineering sections (ventilation, lighting).
